Being a bully isn’t just about pushing kids into lockers and asking for their lunch money. Whenever people imagine a female bully they probably think of Mean Girls. That’s fine, but you don’ t have to be Regina George and have a burn book at the ready to be a bully.
Bullies can be subtle in the ways that they intimidate and hurt those they consider weaker than them. Media representations of bullies often depict them knowing that they’re bullies, almost with a sense of pride. But, uh, newsflash! There are plenty of bullies out there who don’t even know that they’re bullies!
