My sister and I joked about getting matching tattoos of a sun on our butts, which is a BIG deal, because I am very private about my body. Well, when she passed away last November, I decided to get the tattoo, along with her name, and dates (birth/death). But when it came time to pull my pants down, I was too scared to pull them down all of the way in front of the MALE artist. So, her name and dates are on my butt, but the sun is on my lower back.
I live in Florida, so I am at the beach 2 times a month, I get hit on every time, and sometimes they compliment my “tramp stamp,” everytime I get a compliment on it, I make sure to flash the rest of it and I tell them the story on why it’s there. It’s amazing to see a guy’s face go from flirty/cocky to full of respect.
I don’t regret it, because of that tattoo I am more proud of my butt than any other part of my body, and I literally have no shyness now when it comes to showing off my sister’s name on my bum. I won’t ever regret getting to carry my sister’s memory on my body; it feels good to know that she’s with me wherever I go.

Tattoo’s in no way indicate your sexual preferences (unless you want them to) just because someone has a lower back tattoo does not make them a “tramp” and I hate the fact that they’re referred to as “Tramp Stamps” I’ve seen plenty of celebs with lower back tattoos and they are beautiful. I fell that of any one has a tattoo on their lower back that is vulgar in a manner then maybe it should be considered a “tramp stamp”. But what I don’t get is that if a female has a lower back tattoo it is considered a tramp stamp but if a guy has one (which i rarely see) then it’s only considered as another tattoo.
