I’d imagine that one of the scariest things about being a celebrity is all of the possible fan attacks – especially when you’re performing on stage in front of hundreds of crazy fans who are completely obsessed with you. Sure, there’s a lot of security, but there are also so many ways fans can get on stage!

This past weekend, a video of Justin Bieber getting attacked by a fan on stage in Dubai went viral. While it’s funny for us to watch a crazed superfan jump on stage or on the red carpet to hug his or her idol, I feel like it’s probably not as funny for the celebrities involved. Also, definitely not funny for these fans. Yeah, they get their 15 seconds of fame and they get to touch the person they’re obsessed with, but they also get crushed by security guards. In fact, I think the only ones doing real damage here are the body guards.

But anyone, Justin’s video reminded us that he’s definitely not the first star to deal with fan attacks. Check out these 10 videos of celebrities getting “attacked” by fans. And then please let me know why anyone EVER thinks it’s a good idea to do this because I don’t understand.

Justin Bieber

What this video really shows me is that Justin’s body guards are READY for an attack on Justin. This dude got there so fast you can barely even see the fan who jumps on stage to hug JB. And is it bad that the one thing I’m the most worried about is that poor, innocent piano?

Demi Lovato

I don’t know what Demi was thinking sort of inviting those fans on stage when they’re standing there screaming their heads off for her, but obviously her plan backfired. She almost got bombarded by her Paraguay fans and then almost sort of got strangled (although I think it was meant to be just a hug) by one especially excited fan.

Kim Kardashian

Kim K gets on my nerves sometimes. This is my evil side coming out when I say that I love watching her get flour-bombed on the red carpet by someone protesting the fact that she wears so much fur. Come on! She sort of deserves it.

Will Smith

Will Smith proves that he doesn’t need bodyguards because he can protect himself because, um, he’s Will Smith, obviously. Just watch this reporter try to kiss Will as they’re being introduced. I guess this is a pretty standard reaction to have when a stranger tries to kiss you, but I still can’t help feeling a little bit sorry for this dude.

Brad Pitt

Look carefully and you’ll see a girl jump out of nowhere onto Brad’s neck. It kind of looks like Brad is the one pushing her away, although it’s hard to tell. Either way, this only makes me wonder why in the world you would decide to attempt this while your fave celeb is surrounded by bodyguards.

Miley Cyrus

Miley gets attacked by a girl… trying to put her arm around her casually like they’re best buds. Um, okay. She basically gets pushed right back into the audience. Not a good life choice, girl.

Nicki Minaj

Um, this one is actually kind of scary. Imagine you’re on stage singing when a guy jumps up there and puts his hands on your waist. Totally not cool. Her bodyguards not only immediately escort him off-stage, they also beat him up pretty badly.

Keri Hilson

Aw, guys, Keri Hilson tries to be SO nice about this one. After a fan literally tries snatching her away and her bodyguards crush him to the ground, she’s all like, “Wait, no, stop, he just wanted a kiss.”

Britney Spears

One of the funniest things about these videos is seeing how the celebrities react. Wait for around the 2:15 mark here and you’ll see an over-zealous fan try to get on stage to dance with Brit-Brit – and then you’ll see her looking completely confused like she has NO clue about how to react. She is TERRIFIED you guys. It’s actually more sad than funny.

Lil Wayne

I think Weezy sums things up pretty easily after his crazy on-stage fan gets slammed to the ground: “You don’t want that to happen to you.” Stay away from the celebs, guys. Stay away from the celebs.
