I’m so excited about seeing The Great Gatsby this weekend (it hits theaters on May 10!), that today I decided to dedicate a good majority of my day to the 1920′s – 1920′s style, that is. And I wanted to share with you guys! The 1920′s was a time period that gave us some seriously awesome fashion, from flapper dresses to elegant hair accessories to decadent jewelry.
If you haven’t really read The Great Gatsby for school (it’s okay, I won’t tell), get in the spirit of the movie by checking out these adorable clothes and accessories inspired by the 1920′s. You don’t need to dress up as a full-on Halloween-costume flapper in order to channel this vintage look – you only need to pick out some pieces like these. Check ‘em out and get your vintage on!
