Today, April 30, is apparently National Honesty Day. I guess I could tell you guys the importance of honesty and all that (and it is important), but let’s be real for a sec: a lot of the times we find ourselves lying in one way or another. And while I don’t normally advocate lying, I do know that there are definitely some moments when it’s totally okay to lie.
Of course, there are a lot of times you shouldn’t be lying – spreading lies about another person is a big no-no and I generally advise against lying to your significant other. But, like I said, lying happens. And isn’t it better to know when it’s okay to do it and when it’s not okay? Check out these 10 things you can lie about like it’s no big deal:
How Many People You've Slept With
No matter who asks, you never have to tell anyone how many people you've had sex with. That's your business! If you want to share, that's totally fine, but if it's something you want to keep to yourself, that's fine also. Source: ShutterStockHow Far You've Gone
You also don't need to spill on how far you've gone when it comes to hooking up. Yes, if you're a virgin, it's polite to let a dude know that before anything happens, but you don't have to. If you're not comfortable telling people what you've done in the bedroom, keep it to yourself. It's your business and no one else's. The first two (and a few others) are things you definitely don’t have to tell people. But that doesn’t mean you have to lie, just say WHT you do with your body is your business. Lying is making the other person believe something is true, so to the nosy person asking you just gave in.
