10 Things That Kind Of Suck Because Of My Big Boobs

I have  big boobs. They’re not huge or anything, they’re just big. I like my boobs… most of the time. They’re cool and I appreciate them and I probably wouldn’t change them and all of that good stuff. But I have to be honest with you guys – sometimes, having larger breasts is so. Freakin’. Annoying.

A lot of girls think that with bigger boobs comes endless possibilities. Sure, those curves fill out certain styles of clothing differently than A-cups do, but trust me – big boobs do not make everything better. There are certain items of clothing I wish I could wear, but I can’t because they just don’t fit my breasts right. I have never given up hope on some things (I refuse to stop looking until I find the perfect strapless bikini), but honestly, most of the time these things are just a major fail on my body.

Here are 10 things that kind of suck because of my boobs. I’m sure many of you can relate. Let’s complain together:

(Okay, okay, in all seriousness though, I do genuinely love my boobs. I wouldn’t trade them in even though this stuff is all so annoying. Just wanted to throw that in there!)

How do you feel about your boobs? Do you ever have these problems? What can you relate to the most? What did I miss? Tell me in the comments!

Can wearing a bra be bad for your boobs?

I know! I’m a 36 F/FF depending on the bras and nothing ever fits right!

I totally, totally agree with you! The most embarrassing thing is gap-between-buttons, especially as I have to wear blouses for school (I’m English, so we have a uniform)- I don’t want all the pervy guys seeing my bra! Some even have the audacity to stare and wink (don’t worry, my feminist wiles help me to tell them off)! But, overall, I quite like my boobs, though I swear, if they get any bigger, I’d consider getting a reduction for practicality purposes (e.g. back pain etc.)

    Totally agree. 36DD sucksssss

I’m 13 and a 32F. What you just said is too true. Everything I wear is reveling just because my boobs are so big and its really creepy when you catch people, older then you, stareing at them!

Psh, I know exactly how you feel. I have 36DD’s. I do love having a nice chest..they definitely do nice when you wear the RIGHT clothes..but sometimes you just want to not care about what you’re wearing. You definitely cannot just wear anything with a big chest.

I was feeling so low few minutes ago because i have like huge ones n I am on the healthier side so that makes things more difficult for me, whatever I wear the neckline slides down to show my credit card slot i e cleavage and every guy keeps on staring at me. wherever I go stuff for big breasted girls is so expensive but now at least I know I am not alone

    I can really relate to the loose crop tops and bikinis. Sometimes i wish my boobs were just smaller! ;-;

  8. avatarSydni says:

This is my life!!!! Also any corset like top or dress that outlines the chest area but my boob are ten times bigger then that outline :|

Wow, you REALLY should stop buying from Victoria’s Secret because they don’t know how to make any size, smaller or larger, other than a industry standard 34B! XD
You should check out Bare Necessities and other sites that make cup-sized swimsuits that are actually catered towards fuller busts. Also, you should check out their bras as well and research them more, because 80% of the support should come from your band, NOT your straps. I know that any bra other than “normal” is going to be really expensive, but you shouldn’t have to have thick straps if you have supporting band and cups. (I have the issue have having too skinny of a ribcage. 28 and 30 bands rarely exist. 30D pretty much doesn’t exist unless it’s $60 or more. And since bands are getting so stretchy, ESPECIALLY from Victoria’s Secret, 32 bands don’t work for me anymore.)
    Good luck! :)

One thing about button-down blouse is that the buttons near my chest would popped out. That’s why when I was in Senior High, guys in our class were the one making bets for who’s gonna tell me about those open-blouse.

This just made my night! And yes I completely understand!

–32FF who rides horses and envies B cups! lol

I am 13 and have DD boobs and let me tell you. It sucks. Not only is the rest of my class of girls are sizes A-C. That like she said it costs a lot of money to buy bras! For gym classes I need 2 sport bras and they still jiggle! Not fun :(

Try Enell’s sport bra for high impact sports. I get mine on right from Amazon ( saw it on Oprah). I was a DD in middle grade, And now am a DDD-32″ ribcage as an adult. The Enell bra is really worth it. I also get most of my regular bra’s from Frederick’s of Hollywood. Hope this helps some of you ladies :-)

OMG!!!! You Literally just described me! I happen to have large boobs as well…always have, and of course I’m the only one in my family with them. My mom and sis are literally always telling me how much they want my boobs, so I tell them they can have ‘em!
I spent last summer working at Victoria’s Secret and it killed me to see how cute the Pink bras were that season! I wanted one so badly, but I knew I would never wear it for a lack of support. (Oh and forget about wearing a lace bandeau for a bra :P right?) And I too only buy bathing suits from there simply because a roxy bikini would a) only cover my nipple and b) would make my boobs like they were sagging to the ground.
Btw, idk if you’ve ever tried to play golf with those costco muffins (thats what my family calls mine), DONT, it’s practically impossible, I’ve been trying for three years. :P

I wish I could even buy those bikini tops from victoria secrets. Or even a bra. I wear a DDD which really doesn’t fit right either. I have all those problems discribed in the article too. Anything that works for big breasted girls is so expensive.

  14. avatarBethany says:

I know exactly what you mean! Big boobs can be a pain! But if you get a dress that ties up in the back, you get the support you need! And bikini tops, I don’t really know how to describe it, but it’s kinda like you can adjust the cup… I got it at Walmart and it works

I think every girl has an issue with their body image, whether it is big or small. Clothes today suck, you have to really look for them or even have them made/tailored to get the right fit for your body. There are ways to make clothes that can flatter any girls’ figure and boobs of any sizes.

I know it is difficult, I have been busty all my life and I do get frustrated with finding good bras that don’t pinch or cause double boobs that looks like I have 4 instead of 2 or finding clothes that looks nice without looking trashy. I always loved those cute fitted vest that can go over a tshirt or tank and when I see a smaller chested girl wearing it, she pulls it off great..she flatters it. But when I tried wearing it once, I got in trouble because they said it looked like I was trying to show so much cleavage when I only wanted to wear the shirt cuz the other girl could and that it looked so cute, I thought it would look good too but I guess not..it ended up being too much unwanted attention. :-(

We need stores that flatter all kinds of figures, boob sizes…not the typical sizes a-dd or more cups, I’m starting to think they are not working so well for some.

Maybe it would be better to be naked?? hehe J/K

  16. avatarSarah says:

God What I’d do to have boobs… I’m a 34AA and it makes me pissed off when I hear girls with boobs say how they don’t like them and so on. Yea you may not be able to fit into a certain bikini or top but the same goes for me. I have nothing to fill the top or bikini because there is nothing there! I’m 25 and yet I swear I have the chest of a 12 year old :(

    • avatarSydni says:

Just like you complain about your boobs we big boobed girls do to, doesn’t mean earth of us don’t have a struggle. Either extreme comes with its challenges and sometimes it just feels good to vent . Try making one about having small boobs :)

  17. avatarCC says:

Hahahah! So true. I laughed out loud several times. I too struggle with these issues and it’s great that we can laugh about it because it really is a tragic truth. Especially the sports bra part. Yay for two bras. Not.
    Thanks,
    Big chested CC <3

Ike that is why I basically live in T shirts. It gets real annoying when my friends think that I’m so lucky to have big boobs. I’m not.
