I used to hate wearing lipstick because it would never stay on! I thought it was such a waste to keep reapplying a product that wasn’t going to last. But a bright lip can really make your look pop and sometimes you just need that extra bit of color.
The truth is, your lipstick can last all day! This is not a drill. If I’m wearing lipstick, I put it on in the morning with this trick and don’t have to reapply at all. Even after a third cup of coffee and a bagel!

Choose your color
I'm using this fantastic orange color from Revlon called Siren. You can buy it here for $6.39!
Grab a finishing powder
You can use a finishing powder or regular powder. I recommend something translucent so it doesn't mess with the color. I'm using Makeup Forever's HD Finishing Powder.
Use a brush
This is an old eyeshadow brush. Any small brush will do!
Start with bare lips
I like to apply a layer of clear lip balm to keep my lips moisturized.
Apply your color
Color inside the lines!
Dip your brush into the powder
Start with a little bit! You can always add more.
Apply powder over lipstick
Dab the powder onto your lips. Don't brush it on. This will help set your color.
Apply second layer of color
Carefully apply a second layer of color. You can either repeat this process a second time for really long wear, or leave it as is!
Ta-da!
You're all set! Your color should last all day, and you won't have to worry about it coming off after eating or drinking!
