I’m a firm believer that you can use whatever makeup products you want, but there are certain products that work better on a specific complexion, hair or eye color. As far as eye color is concerned, there are definitely colors that can enhance your eyes and make them really pop!
For the next few weeks, I’ll be doing a roundup of products for different eye colors. This week is for my green-eyed ladies! Green eyes are really complimented by gold, bronze, purple and sage colors. Anything in those color families is great for you green girls.

Almay has been making these sets for each eye color for a while, but this one is my favorite for greens. If you're looking for a smokey eye to enhance your green eyes, this is just what you need!

For green eyes, I love using a shimmery bronze or gold shadow under the lower lash line. It brightens up your face and makes your eyes glisten.

This eye shadow duo has the perfect combination of a sage/olive green and a shimmery neutral that is great for daytime wear.
Maybelline FIT Me Pressed Powder Blush-Light Mauve
Any sort of mauve or more purple-pink blush is great for green eyes because it contrasts with the color and makes them stand out.
NARS Duo Eyeshadow-Kuala Lumpur
Though this is a pricier duo, no one does them better than NARS. This one has a mauve-purple and a shimmery gold, which are absolutely perfect for green eyes. It's my go-to when I'm trying to make my eyes stand out.

Using purple eyeliner is the easiest way to make your green eyes pop! Opt for a darker purple or a plum to really enhance your color.

I know you think I'm crazy for suggesting colored mascara, but it's not as noticeable as you think! This won't make you look like you have purple lashes, it'll just make you have super green eyes!
