Cervical Cap
A cervical cap is a plastic cup that is used with spermicide and inserted into the vagina, over the cervix. It blocks sperm from entering the uterus while the spermicide stops sperm from moving.
The cervical cap is more effective in women who have never given birth, but even then 14 out of 100 will get pregnant each year who use it correctly. It does not protect against STDs so you must what? Use a condom!
Side effects of the cervical cap include vaginal irritation, toxic shock syndrome, irritation from spermicide or infection.
