This happened on my most recent period. Now i am paranoid about leaks, so typically on the first two days of my period i use both pads and tampons. I was in class and i totally forgot that it was the first day of my period. So i lounged in my chair like i normally do in my communications class and when i got up at the end of class i could feel that there was a BIG wet spot on the back of my pants from my period. Thankfully i had a sweatshirt i could tie around my waist before heading back to the dorms.

Every time I buy tampons, every single guy from school is there at the store. And the one time I got it early was when i was with my boys, and we were at Dell Taco, I got up leaving blood on the seat…needless to say the laughing started and I hid in the bathroom until my guy friend *thank god* had asked a lady for a tampon for me and walked it into the bathroom. Haha, girls remember, not all your guy friends are mean when it comes to this. :)

I was on a date in a restaurant and there, me and my date where sitting on white chairs so then I felt a cramp and abit weird so I go up to go to the bathroom when there was a blood stain on there but then I had only seen in when I came back and me and my date both looked at each other and I went bright red and I was so embarrised because I really liked him so had to go home so he drove me home and I apologised in the car and he said its fine I don’t mind I still like you and it’s only natural, he was trying to calm me down, so I arrived and got home and changed but oh my sweet Jesus I haven’t spoke to him since.

Okay so last Friday I was in my friend’s car and we had just gotten in n out after school and she was driving me home. I hadn’t had the chance to change for about 2 hours. While we were in In-N-Out, this stranger lady pulled me aside to tell me I had a stain on my dress. I didn’t have any pads with me and my friend was sitting pretty close by, so I couldn’t do anything about it. When I got out of the car when they were dropping me off, I saw a big, messy, bloody stain on the seat I had just stood up from. I tried not to let my horror show as I closed the door, waved goodbye, and walked (backwards) into my house. It’s Sunday today and I have to face her at school tomorrow. I am so freaking grossed out and mortified, and I can only imagine how she must feel. Ugh.

Mine isn’t embarrassing but it was fairly scary for a first period. I first started when I was fourteen. I was lying on a couch at home and I felt kind of gross, so I looked down and sure enough I found blood. I ran upstairs and waited for my mom to get home. Luckily for me, she was supposed to come home and pick me up anyways. I told her straight away because I was freaking out, but she had to go back to work, so she showed me where my sister keeps her pads and left. I had been diagnosed with anxiety and depression earlier that year and I hate to admit it, but I was ‘watching’ my already low weight (I did not have anorexia, but I was scared it could turn into something serious like that) to ensure my period would come later. When that dreaded day did come, my anxiety became so overwhelming, that I was pacing back and forth and felt really unsettled and sick. I actually passed out on the carpet, home alone. After about five minutes I realized what had happened and got up, but I was so scared and so stressed out, I cried in the shower for literally two hours until I felt a bit better. For the next four days, I was really depressed and anxious, but eventually I got used to the idea. What I hate is how people never really show the impact your first period can have on a girl with both anxiety and depression, but it did workout in the end.

So… this happened last night. My boyfriend and I went on a double date with his best friend and his girlfriend. After dinner we hop back in the car and head home. I felt like I may be leaking through my tampon but didn’t think much of it. My boyfriend, being the gentleman he is, runs to my car door and opens it for me to get out. I get out and grab my purse…. as I do this I notice a little red patch on his car seat. He didn’t seem to notice so we go inside. The whole night I’m thinking of how I can clean it up without him knowing or wondering if he’ll even notice the next time he’s in his car. Now it’s 10 AM and he just left for work and I’m sweating bullets wondering if he saw it or not and if he’s totally creeped out. Ahhh! The anxiety is killing me!
