I don’t know about you guys, but I love my smile. I love showing it off and keeping it looking pretty, which is why I’ve never really minded going to the dentist. However, sometimes I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t mind a trip to the dentist. I have some friends though who really hate when they have to go.
Where does GIF Girl fall in terms of her dental feelings? Well, she happens to have an appointment today! Let’s see how our favorite awkward girl feels about her dentist visit:
So it’s that time of the year when I need to go to the dentist for a cleaning.
I’m actually a little nervous because all my friends have been telling me how scared they get about the dentist.
I mean, yeah – some of those tools are pretty creepy.
And it’s always so awkward with everyone up in your face. I mean, what if my breath is bad or something?
It also is difficult when they try to talk to you while working on your teeth.
They usually seem skeptical about my flossing habits…
So I lie and say I do it every day. Yeah, they aren’t buying that.
When I walk into the office though, good dentist memories come rushing back. Remember as a kid when you got those sweet shades to wear?
And you’d get cool prizes when you left?
So today they only give me free toothbrush, but hey… free stuff!
Also, quick confession guys: I LIKED my braces. A lot.
Back to today. Now that I’m over my nerves, I just get to lay in a chair for the next 30 minutes. Seriously, they brush your teeth for you. You do nothing.
Okay I do one thing: pick the toothpaste flavor. This feels like a challenge. I have so much power!
Also, this dentist doesn’t ask me any questions while working on my teeth. Instead, she’s actually telling ME a story and I’m super captivated.
Okay, I admit that learning about a cavity is always shocking.
But PSYCH, they don’t say that today! Instead, they usually tell me I’m doing a good job with dental care = major confidence boost!
Plus, now I get to have super clean teeth for the rest of the day. So all in all, visiting the dentist isn’t that bad. BRB, gotta go show off this smile!

I am getting braces! *BTW cant wait…but super nervous because my friends and classmates been telling me how painful it is. But i am not letting my nerves get over mean because i get teased about my super giant gap and i laugh ALOT! About everything.
