I mean, I seriously have been staring at the tool kit in my apartment thinking “I really need to use that screwdriver, but it’s not made for me so I can’t figure it out.” I haven’t hung any pictures up or fixed any basic maintenance problems in my place because I just can’t use the tools.
All you have to do is cover your tools in anything pink, leopard, floral or sparkly. Basically, any stereotypical feminine color or pattern will do the trick. If you do that, all of your tools will be instantly ready for you to use!
Thank heavens though, someone did this for use with line of tools and things just for women! It’s called Pretty Useful Tools, and they have all sorts of girl-approved tools that are SO cute and easy to use. You can “use the dainty hammer to take out your frustrations with style” or “join all your important bits of paper together without feeling like your own secretary” with their stapler.
I really don’t know how I’ve gotten anything done in this office without a floral stapler and cheetah print keyboard.
I love cute things like small animals and sparkly objects, but just because I like cute stuff doesn’t mean everything I own has to be cute. You can have too much of a good thing. I personally don’t want my desk looking like Tinkerbell threw up on it.
Companies are constantly coming out with so many sexist products that are “just for women” or “just for men,” but how about things that are for people? You know that you can use a regular hammer. Any hammer is a girl’s hammer. Any stapler is a girl’s stapler. Any pen is a girl’s pen.
If you want a cute set of tools because you think regular tools are ugly and you just really like them, by all means go ahead. But don’t think that you need these girl-targeted objects that are “easier” to use because you don’t!
What do you think about tools for girls? Do you like or own any? Did you get them because you couldn’t use regular tools? Tell me in the comments!
There’s also an easy-to-use tablet for women with pre-downloaded apps!
