I don’t really like April Fools’ Day because I hate spending all day online trying to not be super gullible. Needless to say, it’s been a taxing mental day so far as I ponder over headlines. Luckily, we at Gurl would never try and trick you with something like an April Fools’ Day joke…
What exactly have I found out there online? Here’s a selection of what seems like Internet pranks, but I mean, I’ll let you ultimately decide for yourself if these are the real deal or April Fools pranks. I can’t even trust my brain any more, so I’m leaving it up to all of you.

Well, Google remains the best of the best in search engines by now letting you “search for smells” with Google Nose…
…or alternatively, helping you find treasure on Google Maps.

Forget the Oscars! YouTube now needs ten years to go through all their submitted content and finally decide the winner of their best video ever contest. Fingers crossed for Gurl!

With no YouTube, where will you watch cat videos? Luckily, Vimeo has filled this empty space with “Vimeow.”

Not only do humans love technology, but so do their pets, which is why Sony is stepping up to fill that void with their Animalia line.
