How To Cheat Like A Man – Yes, This Is A Serious Book

how to cheat book

I still can’t even believe this is real.

Wondering how to successfully cheat on your boyfriend? Girls, stop worrying: there’s a book that will teach you how to do exactly that. Even better? It teaches you how to cheat like a man.

The book is called, appropriately, How To Cheat Like A Man: A How-To-Guide for Women Who Want To Stray, Play and Get Away With It. It’s written by a man named Paulo Rossi and according to the Amazon book page, “is an essential guide … for women who want to protect what they have at home while still getting a little something on the side for themselves.”

I don’t know what’s worse: the fact that this book is incredibly sexist and basically says that us stupid ladies don’t know how to cheat without a man’s help or the the fact that this book teaches you how to cheat in general. Or maybe the fact that this book insinuates that basically all men cheat. News flash: they don’t. It’s not a rite of passage of being a guy. Also, and trust me on this one, there are some cheating guys out there who could use some lessons themselves. Honestly, stuff like this is what makes me lose faith in humanity.

Why would we want to cheat to begin with? Well, according to the description of the book on Amazon: “Let’s face it, ladies: there are a lot of good things about having an affair. It can bring the passion, romance and excitement back into your life that may be missing from your marriage or monogamous relationship while keeping the love alive between you and your partner. In face, the only real downside to cheating is getting caught.

What the…?!?! I don’t even know where to start here. Okay, actually, let’s start with this: why cheat at all? Why would you intentionally betray and hurt the person you love? So you can get that “passion, romance and excitement” you’ve been craving? Here’s a better idea: break up with your boyfriend if all of that is missing. Dump the guy and then go out there and find someone else who brings that all to your life.

In what world is teaching people to cheat okay? I genuinely do not understand. In my opinion, cheating is a cowardly act. It means you either don’t have the guts to end a relationship, you don’t have the willpower to resist temptation or you simply just don’t care about anyone’s feelings except your own. I would never encourage anyone to cheat. If your relationship is that terrible, you either try to fix it or, like I said, you end things. The answer to your love problems isn’t to create more by getting yourself involved in a tangle of lies and deceit.

Cheating isn’t a game you can learn how to play when you’re bored. I don’t know when an affair has “kept the love alive” in a relationship. I mean, you’re kidding, right? Cheating hurts people, really, really hurts people. Talk to anyone who’s been cheated on and ask them how it felt. Yes, it happens and sometimes it’s a mistake that a person genuinely regrets. That’s a different situation from buying a book like this to actively learn how to cheat “correctly.” Whatever that means.

The point I’m trying to make is basically this: don’t cheat. Is your temporary excitement and happiness worth potentially ending a relationship or really, seriously hurting someone else? For me, at least, it isn’t.

Would you ever buy this book? Have you ever cheated on someone or been cheated on? What are your thoughts on cheating? Tell me in the comments.

Oh my god. Does this guy not realize that NOBODY is going to date him after this? Seriously dude, you are never getting laid again.

Ha, good one Raven. He probably should’ve had anonymous written as the author if he really wanted to publish this book. Then again, he might get laid again, considering no one will even look at this garbage.

So sexist, and downright rude. Why would someone want to promote cheating, like come on! seriously?!
