Be a cover star AND win a ton of money!

OMG, amazing opportunity time, girls. Seventeen is holding their annual Pretty Amazing contest right now, and the winner gets to be a Seventeen cover star. Um, can you even imagine how cool that would be? Seventeen is an awesome magazine and some seriously girl-crush worthy celebs have graced the cover. And you could potentially be the next one!  Imagine walking by a bookstore and seeing your face on hundreds of copies of a major magazine... hands down has to be one of the coolest feelings ever. 

Oh, and there’s something else also: the winner not only gets to be a gorgeous cover star, but she’ll also win a $10,000 scholarship from Neutrogena. Yes, that many zeros. Yes, this is the the best prize ever. Plus, 20 people will win a Nook just for entering.

Interested in entering? I figured. Seventeen is looking for a girl who has done some “pretty amazing” things in her life (hence the contest name, obvs), and getting your name into the mix couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is click here and fill out a form. Tell Seventeen editors and celeb judge Carly Rae Jepsen exactly what makes you pretty amazing. You also need to send in two pictures of yourself.

Want some tips on how to win? The Seventeen staff and Carly have got ‘em. For one thing, you should be confident in yourself – because, girl, you are pretty amazing! To get an idea of what kind of story they’re looking for, one editor says, “I’m looking for a girl who has an amazing story to tell. This isn’t about a laundry list of achievements, this is about having a deeply personal connection to your accomplishments that sets you apart from the crowd. And no two people have the same story! Even if you share the same interest as a past finalist, I want to know what makes your story special.”
