I was shocked to find out that according to Daily Mail 80% of women wait an entire month before they let their boyfriend see them without makeup! 60% will sleep with makeup on when with their boo. And 20% get up in the middle of the night to put makeup on!
This is crazy to me! Am I the only person not doing this?
First of all, I don’t even know where to start with how bad it is for you to sleep with makeup on. That’s like a whole other issue. Second, if a guy really likes you, he’s going to like you with makeup or without!
I understand wanting to impress a guy when you’re first dating. But you don’t need to be basically Photoshopping yourself everyday! I always wash my face before bed, whether a guy is in it or not. If he’s going to dump me because I don’t look as perfect as I did with my makeup on, then good! I don’t want to be with a guy who’s that shallow anyway.
That brings me to my next point of how different do you look without makeup on? Makeup should not make you look like a completely different person.
Despite being a makeup addict, my daily makeup consists of a little powder, blush and mascara. Maybe eyeliner if I feel like it. If I’m going out, I’ll do a smokey eye and maybe throw on some lipstick. But I still look like myself!
I totally get being insecure about how you look sans makeup. I’ve dealt with acne my whole life so I get it. It makes me sad to know that so many women are feeling that insecure about how they look that it would take a whole month to let their new boyfriend see them without makeup.
The sooner you let your man see you without makeup, the sooner he accepts what you look like without it. If you perpetuate the idea that you look totally perfect all the time, he’s going to get used to it! Just rip the bandaid right away, so to speak.
Seriously, wash your face before bed! And cherish your sleep instead of waking up to put makeup on so your boo can see you done up first thing in the morning.

I never wear make up. my BF thrhows a fit when he sees it on me. he loves me the way i am and if i look different than that he is not happy because he wants me to be comfortable with myself not with my makeup alter ego
Personally, I never wear make up. it’s just not my style – I’d rather be natural.
I had been with my ex boyfriend for 8 months and he never saw me without my make up. I feel so bad, but thats how insecure I am without make -up
My boyfriend saw me without makeup before we started dating. I was insecure at it first and I told him about it and he says he prefers me without makeup. I still wear it when we hangout outside of his house but when we are just at his place I don’t even bother putting it on since he loves me the way I am.
I’ve given up makeup for lent. My boyfriend says he doesn’t want lent to end (: so cute!
I can’t imagine going to that much trouble to make sure your bf doesn’t see you with out makeup! I’ve been dating my bf a month, and the only time he has seen me with heavy makeup on was when i was in a play (stage makeup). I gone many a time seeing him without makeup. My question is wouldn’t making out with heavy makeup on be a little gross? Wouldn’t it get all over his face?
some people feel self conscious because their skin has been damaged by acne or other problems. it’s uncomfortable to let anyone see you with out at least a foundation. take other people’s skin issues and types into consideration before you judge someone about their insecurities. :/
