I know it’s not super warm yet, but it’s getting closer and closer to spring and I can’t wait to sit out in the sun! And it’s getting closer to spring break for y’all! I wear sunscreen year-round because my dermatologist has drilled it into my brain, and you should too. But I know realistically, most people only wear sunscreen when they’re out in the sun for long periods. (You really should wear it all the time though!)
Anyway, sunscreen can be really greasy and heavy. It can make you break out, which is never fun. There are so many different kinds too, so it can be tough to pick the best one.
Here are my favorite sunscreens for face and body to get you ready for the sun!
Aveeno Daily Moisturizer, Ultra-Calming, SPF 15
I use this on the reg as my second moisturizer. Because it's a moisturizer first and sunscreen second, it's not ultra greasy. SPF 15 is perfect for my skin for daily use.
Banana Boat Sport Broad Spectrum
I love Banana Boat because it smells like summer. Sport sunscreens are perfect if you're going to be doing activities outside because they're more resistant to sweat. You should still apply frequently, though!
Bull Frog Mosquito Coast, Sunblock with Insect Repellent
If you're going to be somewhere that has bugs, you definitely want this sunscreen. It has built-in mosquito repellent to keep those pesky bugs away from you.
Coppertone UltraGuard Sunscreen Continuous Spray
I hate applying sunscreen when I'm at the beach because the lotion gets all over your hands and picks up sand. Spray sunscreen is your friend when you're going to be somewhere sandy!
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock
This sunblock is perfect if you find that everything else is too greasy. It's super light and dries extra fast so you don't even realize you have it on.
Ocean Potion Suncare Face Potion Clear Zinc Oxide
Zinc is great for super sun protection, but it doesn't absorb! That's where clear zinc comes in. If you're going to be exposed to heavy sun, you definitely want this in your beach bag.
Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect Lotion Sunscreen
This is my favorite sunscreen ever in the history of sunscreens. I picked it up by mistake last year on spring break and started applying it on the beach only to realize it's GOLD! I looked like a beach goddess the entire trip!
What’s your go-to sunscreen? Do you use it year-round? What SPF number do you use? Tell me in the comments!

Ocean Potion has a stick (more like rub-on) sunblock for your face which is basically a small tub with a cotton pad at the end that you use to apply on your face. It is amazing! I really recommend it
I would also highly recommend, Avéne rich or light hydrating moisturizer with spf20 as the daily sunscreen
