The SURGE Movement Is Getting Real Serious

Y’all I have something very important to tell you: there’s a serious movement to bring back SURGE. You remember SURGE right? That radioactive-green beverage from the ’90s that was basically Sprite plus 7Up plus Sierra Mist plus Mountain Dew plus like eighty 5-Hour Energy shots. And maybe some nuclear food coloring. It was delicious.

Sadly, Coca-Cola discontinued production in 2002. The SURGE Movement started on Facebook in 2011, but the group just bought a billboard 1/2 a mile from Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta. The group also constantly bombards Coke reps with phone calls and emails. When they start up production it should be called SURGE Resurgence, and I fully expect a huge cut of that profit for the name. [BuzzFeed]

This was a really weird article, what with throwing in things that are irrelevant and all. I guess if it were me, I’d indicate that this wasn’t the only thing I’d be talking about.
