Here’s one thing I think we can all agree on: picking out presents for other people can be really, really hard. Even if you’ve known the person forever, even if you feel like you know everything about them… finding the perfect gift isn’t always easy. Buying presents for people is one of my favorite things to do and even I know this. And for some reason, I find Valentine’s Day gift ideas especially hard.
That’s exactly why I was super excited to stumble across an app that makes gift-giving that much easier. It’s called UrGiftIn and it’s basically all about gift wish lists. Why does this make things so much easier? You use the app to create your ultimate gift wish list and then share it with your friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, family, whatever. They can see exactly what you want and pick from the list.To make things even easier, you have the option to buy the items straight from the app itself.
Sounds perfect, right? Right! If you’re unsure of what to buy your boyfriend for Valentine’s Day this year, get him to sign up for this app. He can make a list of things he wants and then you can pick from there. That way, you know you’re getting him something he’s genuinely going to love. On the flip side, if your BF needs a little help in the gifting department, you can make your own list, show it to him and be sure to get something you genuinely love.
The best part about this is that there’s still the surprise element. Sure, your guy or your friends are telling you exactly what they want – but they’re also giving you a bunch of options, meaning they still don’t know exactly what they’re going to get. I love that about this app because I personally hate knowing exactly what I’m going to get just as much as I hate when people know exactly what I’m buying them.
Another cool thing about this app is that it’s not only for Valentine’s Day. You can use it for birthdays and other holidays as well. Oh, and did I mention that it’s free? That’s it. Sign me up!
Are you going to try this app? Do you think it sounds like a good idea? What’s your dream gift for Valentine’s Day this year? Tell me in the comments.
