Okay, so I freakin’ love Kesha. Like, a lot. So when I found out she was having her own documentary series on MTV called My Crazy Beautiful Life (after one of her songs from Cannibal), I was pretty stoked to get a glimpse of the girl behind the glitter. Here’s why.

1. She’s hilarious and tongue-in-cheek.
From her furries in her ‘C’Mon’ video to her war with James Van Der Beek to her often silly lyrics, it’s pretty evident that Kesha doesn’t take herself too seriously. That makes her a lot of fun to watch.

2. Boys with beards!
In an interview on Nikki & Sara Live, Kesha admitted that the documentary would indeed show her making out with guys . . . and that not all of them are that cute. For the record, she also said she had sex with a ghost. I’m not sure if that’s going to be shown on MTV, but it’s surely make for interesting television, wouldn’t it?

3. Animals. Lots of animals.
Kesha says some of the footage–which her brother and his best friend shot–covers her “spirit journey” working with animals as a global ambassador for the Humane Society. She takes care of baby lions. Baby lions!

4. The music, obviously.
Not only does the show follow her on tour, but My Crazy Beautiful Life chronicles a lot of the writing and recording of the second full length Kesha album, Warrior. Based on the insane stories I’ve heard about her working with the Flaming Lips alone, let alone the other insane stuff she does, that should be a blast to watch.

5. Mr. Peeps!
Kesha has an adorable cat who pops up at the end of her videos and even has his own Twitter account. And I need to see more of him. Now.
