This morning both Justin Timberlake and Destiny’s Child announced that they were going to be making new music for the first time in a very long time, and then Twitter basically exploded with excitement. Technically, Justin Timberlake didn’t even say for sure that he was making new music, he just hinted at it in a vague video of him in a recording studio and people still flipped out. Guys, I truly never knew Justin Timberlake was so popular.

Anyway, according to Twitter, new music from both JT and Destiny’s Child is the best thing to happen to music in basically forever. And while I have a personal vendetta against JT (I met him and he was so rude. Let’s not talk about it), I have to admit I dig his music. I also have very fond memories of a teenage Jessica singing along to Destiny’s Child with friends, so I’m pretty excited.
