Yeah they were paranoid but she should of replied explaining she was driving- I know a few people like that who are genuinely lovely people but just suffer from paranoia. They don’t do the things “nice guys” claim to do. They just act… genuine. They aren’t perfect, but don’t get butthurt when life doesn’t follow the script they wrote in their heads.

Luckily, I live in a place where my cell phone doesn’t work. But it took him almost a year to finally realize I wasn’t ignoring his texts, I just wasn’t getting them. Sadly, it took me a little longer to finally realize I just needed to block his number.
