My bangs are a big ol’ mess today. Seriously, they are going in all different directions. Yes, I could have taken the time to actually do my hair this morning, but I watched an old episode of New Girl when I woke up and admired Zooey Deschanel’s hair instead.
According to the results of a Fabriah.com poll of 500 women, which were published in The Daily Mail, the average woman will spend the equivalent of ten days on her hair care during a year. I don’t even think I cracked ten seconds when brushing my hair this morning. In fact, I think it maybe would take me ten days to figure out how to braid my hair even one time.
I would agree to bring my already lax approach to hair care down to zero for the year if it meant that I could do these things for ten full days instead:
Re-Read All The Harry Potter Books
I read each of those in like a day because I was so obsessed, so fitting all seven books into a ten-day span should actually be pretty relaxing reading. Source: Nikki Nelson/ WENNTop Chef Marathon
It's no secret that I love Top Chef. I haven't seen some of the earliest episodes and I'm always game to re-watch past seasons, so if I could spend ten days watching Top Chef, I totally would. If possible, I would like the contestants to cater my meals during those ten days, but I'm flexible on that. Source: FayesVision/WENN.comImprove My French
I loved taking French in high school and I wish I was way better at speaking it. If for ten days I could only speak French and people could only speak French to me, I think I'd be forced to remember all those long-forgotten verbs and phrases and maybe finally get started on my way toward becoming bilingual. I know next to nothing about space, so I feel like space camp would be really good for me. I don't really know much about what you do there, but if they have a zero gravity simulation thing I can try, I would be a happy ten-day camper. Source: Shutterstock.comBuild An Epic Sandcastle
Not to brag, I can build a pretty awesome sand turtle (it's exactly what it sounds like). With ten days, I'm pretty confident I could make a sweet sandcastle. Alternate: If it's ten days in winter, I would use my ten days to try and build a sweet ice sculpture. Source: Shutterstock.comPaint A Mural
I would really like to leave an artistic mark somewhere in the world, and ten days seems like a solid amount of time to get it done. Source: Shutterstock.comSleep The Whole Time
Right now, I feel the amount I sleep a year is probably -10 days, so I'll finally get all caught up and evened out. ZZZZzzzzz.... I never have time to do my hair ! It’s so wavy in th morning!
You should see my hair. My hair is straight and really long. It goes down to my hip. It takes an hour to do my hair!! That’s why I never curl my hair in the morning if I have to wake up at 6.
