Someone filmed while parents coached the girl in white on how to fight. | Source: HLN
Ready to be disturbed? Two girls got into a brawl in Georgia, and one girl’s parents actually coached her on how to fight throughout the whole thing.
14-year-old Quinnaya Durden said she was getting off of her bus with another student to go home when the parents of an unidentified other girl pulled up in their van and had their daughter attack Quinnaya. Quinnaya was struggling to defend herself in the scuffle while the other girl’s parents cheered on, telling their daughter, “You know where to hit her at!”
The parents then claimed that Quinnaya was bullying their daughter and said that’s why they were teaching their daughter how to fight–in order to ostensibly defend herself. Bear in mind, Quinnaya’s mom says there’s nothing on record with the girls’ school saying that Quinnaya actually bullied this girl. That means either it didn’t happen or that it was never reported, which would be a safer, smarter, and more effective alternative than resorting to physical violence to solve the issue.
You can watch a video of all this insanity here:

Can You Trust Him?
I seriously think they should look more in to this. I agree that the parents were wrong on their part, but there was obviously something going on between the girls for them to fight. Today, kids don’t just go to the office and tell because it gives you a name. It’s either “fight or flight”. Plus, the girl in the interview kept smirking while her mother talked about her bullying the other girl. Then, she kept glancing around and acting as if she couldn’t speak for herself while her mother made excuses. There is definitely something they’re not telling.
Obviously the parents did and the girl did was wrong but people dont just do that out of the blue either. There was deffinetly something going on between the girls, it doesnt make a diffrence if its on record or not. Just because she didnt tell anyone doesnt mean it wasnt happening, i mean, being bullied is emmbarrising, why would she want to tell? Also, the girlin the interview was smirking and her “miche wasnt on” ….. or maybe she just couldnt come up wih a lie to cover up that she had in fact been bullying the other girl? I spy fowl play and even though what the other girl did was wrong, quianna was wrong too.
I agree. No parent should applaud their child fighting another person but you can’t start a fire without smoke. Maybe the parents encouraging the girl fighting were right about the girl bullying her and they had it. They couldnt think of any other way except to resolve the conflict other than fighting. Maybe there is a lot more to the story than what the victim says. I watched this article on the news and most of the time when Jane asked the girl what happened, the mom would interrupt or make an excuse.
1. no,parents shouldnt encourage their kids to fight
2.Yes my parents taught me how to fight
3.Yes we need to know how to fight simply for safety and self defense.
