Today, YouTube user PleatedJeans taught me how to make the perfect batch of cookies. I have to say that this may be the best and most accurate recipe in the history of cookie-making.

This may not be a recipe passed down from your great-great grandma, but I promise you it will be very delicious. For you. And you alone. Because who are you really making those cookies for? You can say you’re just trying to be a good girlfriend/friend/sister/daughter/student or whatever, but I know the truth… you just want an excuse to eat some. I’m onto you, girl.

Anyway, what I’m really trying to say is that this guy hit the nail on the head. This is what happens to me almost every time I try to make cookies. And I guarantee that it’s happened to a few of you guys too. Because who can resist cookie dough? And who can actually remember to preheat the oven? That’s basically the worst step of baking anything.
