Aw, girl! Are you having a rough day? Cranky? Losing faith in humanity? Or do you have a lot of stuff you want to say to someone and are too scared to do it? Whether it be a crush, your mom, your big brother, your favorite teacher, your BFF? We know just how to fix all of the above and make sure everyone has a super good day.

If you want to improve your outlook or just get inspired to open up to someone who means a whole lot to you, look no further than SoulPancake‘s Street Compliments. We know, we know, “Street Compliments” sounds like someone a gross guy would yell out of his car window at you, but we promise this is different!

The group, led by actor Rainn Wilson (from The Office!), wrote on their YouTube page, “When was the last time you told someone how you really felt? The SoulPancake Street Team hits the streets to inspire some kind words.”

The jist of the Street Compliments project? There’s a booth with a mic and one with giant headphones. You and someone else each go in to one booth and exchange what you like most about one another. Then you switch places. And then you walk away happy and maybe a little teary-eyed. A bad day turned into a good day (or a great one!) just like that.

Check out how this works to give everyone involved a good day right here:

Hopefully this will inspire you to be a little more cheery and complimentary to people around you today. And remember--giving a compliment can feel just as wonderful as getting one, so don’t be shy. We’ll start: You, reading this, are awesome. You’re smart, you’re funny, and you’re super cute. And we bet you smell really good, too. Your turn!

What’s the best compliment you’ve ever given someone else? What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received? Do you think you’re more likely to have a good day if someone says something nice about you? Tell us in the comments!

Are these compliments a step towards the end of online bullying?
