The Lazy Girl’s Guide To Looking Smart About Politics

The 2012 Presidential Election is coming up this November and I am sure political conversations have been blowing up your Twitter and Facebook feeds. A Lazy Girl like you does not have time for politics. You have better things to do (Hot Pockets) than discuss the fate of reproductive rights, same-sex marriage, and the economy. Instead of reading the papers, news blogs and watching the debates on TV, follow our simple guide to looking smart about politics. No need to, like, learn something, right?

This is suppose to be ironic right? I now feel like listening to Stupid Girls by Pink. Are you really saying that girls can just be cute and not really learn about the country and it be ok? This is why no one thinks there will be a woman president.

  4. avatarRemi says:

Well this was more like how to be a dumb blonde on politics.

OKAY, HOLD UP. WHY is this article teaching girls that they should be lazy and not learn about what’s happening with the restrictions that could be made to take away some of our reproductive rights?!?!? This is just wrong! I don’t turn 18 until next year, but I would give up my bedroom just to be able to have a voice! And any girl out there that IS able to vote in this election, be responsible and get informed.

Get caught, and you will look like a total idiot….

Thanks for further instilling the idea that women are naive and should remain that way, instead of, you know, instilling the fact that we are important and should therefore be informed of important topics that do affect us by the mere fact that we are humans.

  8. avatarJenna says:

Lol because its a good idea for girls not to learn about their reproductive rights…

Alternatively, you could actually become an informed citizen and make a responsible choice for the future.
