Um hey Lindsay Lohan, the whole world isn’t constantly making up lies about you like you always say. Don’t be the girl who cried wolf--if you did something, either keep quiet or take responsibility.
Mourn--Then Move On
You screwed up--it happens. Don't torture yourself by reliving it. Allow yourself a certain amount of time to freak out then put it behind you. Pete Wentz taught me this after his weiner photos got out when he said that he cried for 24 hours but then was ready to laugh again. Wise.

Don’t keep bringing it up. I know when something terrible happens you assume that EVERYONE ON EARTH is talking about it. But as my grandma always says “You wouldn’t care so much what people think about you if you knew how seldom they did.” I bet Blake Lively doesn’t constantly remind people that she sexted someone topless pics!
Be Proud!
OK not if you do something BAD, but maybe just something embarrassing. Notice how esome celebs, like Paris Hilton, never seem to feel or act embarrassed? No matter what kind of fiasco they find themselves in, they're like "Yeah? So? Underwear is for suckers, this is me, bitches." If you shrug something off--boom--scandal over.
Surround Yourself With the Right People
Be honest: is your clique working for or against you? If your screw ups seem to happen only with you are around your crew, maybe they are part of the problem, not the solution. When Nicole Richie wanted to grow up and settle down, Paris got the axe. Can you blame her?
Take Time For Yourself
During her massive meltdown, I couldn't fathom Britney Spears being back on top. But here she is! That's because she took some much needed time out of the spotlight to recoup. If you've gotten yourself into a sticky mess, stay out of the social scene and just do you for awhile.
