Why do you wear pink? I wear pink for my grandmother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. I’m out to kick breast cancer’s butt in her memory. Everyone’s heard of breast cancer, and many of us girls know someone who’s suffered from the disease. Have you ever wondered how you can help the cause? PUMA’s Project Pink is making it easy to be at the front of the fight!
Stars like Ashley Tisdale have already shared why they’re praising pink, and now they want you to do the same! One way to get involved is to hop on Twitter and share your reason for wearing pink with the #projectpink hashtag. For every #projectpink tweet per day, PUMA will donate $1 to breast cancer charities (up to $30,000), so tag your friends and get them to share too!
And it gets better, especially for soccer girls. Need some cute soccer gear for when you try out this fall? Check this out: 100% of the profits from PUMA’s Project Pink gear go towards breast cancer charities. They’ve got super cute shorts, shirts, comfy sweatshirts and adorable sweat pants available. I love, love, love the tanks that say “Kick it in Pink.” I’d wear it on or off the field.
And there’s more. Our friends at PUMA are also looking for your help to make a huge decision. After raising the money from your tweets, and the collection purchases, they’ll have $120,000 for one lucky breast cancer charity, but they need you to nominate and then vote for your favorite breast cancer charity for the award! It only takes a few minutes to go online and write PUMA a message about who the charity is and why they deserve the funding. Lots of awesome charities have already been nominated, like Bikers for Boobs and Bowling to Beat Breast Cancer. Check back on September 24th to start voting for your favorites!
So back to my question. I want to know why you’re wearing pink! Let’s get tweeting. One dollar at a time, we can help scientists find a cure!

Can You Trust Him?
I did race for life this year; the feeling you get crossing the finish line and knowing you’re helping thousands of women with breast cancer is amazing
There is absolutely no way 100% of the profits go to charities. I would never believe that pile in a billion years. Obviously if they’re selling things they need money to produce them. They’d have to pay for several other things like having a website etc. etc… The money for this stuff isn’t going to come out of their own pockets. The people running this project would be broke.
