It goes without saying that we’ll always remember 9/11–no one can ever forget something that was so traumatic and heartbreaking, but that also spawned such a wave of unity and positivity as a nation in our work to rise above the tragedy and move forward.

Part of what 9/11 did was remind us that we’re not invincible–but that we are strong, patriotic, and team players. Keep your loved ones and those who rescued and fought for them in mind not just today, but everyday. We don’t need to tell you to “never forget,” because we know you won’t. Let’s be real: America’s pretty awesome all of the time (and so are you!). Celebrate and remember it.

Today, on the 11th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks, we’re paying tribute to our fallen heroes and loved ones, and so are your favorite celebs. Here are our picks for the most moving 9-11 memorial tweets from your favorite stars. We’re particularly impressed by Uggie’s social media skills–it can’t be easy to type with paws!

I was two but I remember everything!!! Scary :/ but my prayers to the people who were tragically affected :( still, I do agree with Vada, we must move on. Preaching it to those who don’t remember doesn’t do anything but cause more Islam-hate groups and fear. They should know it happened, but it shouldn’t take up our future with fear of a repeat.

Sorry if alot of people hate me for this but i think people should stop constantly preaching about 911. I’m not saying it wasnt horrible but it happened 11 years ago! We should stop worshipping all the horrible things that happen and move on to all the good things that happened to our fabulous country.

RIGHT, and i don’t think family members would like constanly being reminded about a family member that died

I totally see your point. But we spend 364 days celebrating good things, so what’s wrong with spending one day of the year to remember the people, friends, and family we lost on this day? We’re not worshipping or preaching about 9/11; we’re remembering and saying that we won’t forget the cost of that attack.
