This week we asked the question, “Can guys and girls be just friends?” and boy did you guys answer. You all had a lot to say about whether or not boy-girl relationships would always end with someone falling for the other person. Many of you gave a resounding, “YES!” while some of you think it’s basically impossible. As usual, your comments were interesting, funny, no bull and gave the Gurl editors a little taste of who you are.
What do you think about platonic relationships? Let us know in the comments!

Can You Trust Him?
Shame I missed out on this, but I’ll put my two cents in anyway:
YES guys and girls can definitely be just friends, and neither one has to be gay for it to work out. It’s quite possible to find someone of the opposite sex who you get along with really well, but just don’t have that romantic click with them. It happens all the time. When you aren’t attracted to someone, don’t think of them romantically, but love spending time with them, it works, as long as that happens with both people, and it can.
So I have three best friends. One of them is a guy. He is dating one of my other best friends. He is like my brother, we fight and argue like brother and sisters, act like twins (seriously, its creepy how alike we are), and everybody thought we were dating before he and Brit got together. But there isn’t even a possibility of us, no matter what anyone says. I’ve seen first hand how he loves her, how she loves him, and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that they’re gonna be high school sweethearts. He’s just an old soul, has that kind of commitment and would never hurt her. So basically my point of view is that you obviously can.
