At homecoming, there’s usually a homecoming court–a popularity contest, essentially. It’s important to remember that in the end, it means nothing. Seriously.
If you make it onto the court, that’s awesome! If not–it doesn’t mean other people are better than you or that you suck. It just means you don’t have to share an awkward dance with the homecoming king, who may well turn out to be someone lame that you don’t like. Plus, chances are a tiara may mess up your hair anyway.

It sucks because my boyfriend wont go with me. he absoulutly hates dances and even though i will still have an awsome time with my friends it still wont be the same
It might just be an insecurity of his, don’t sweat it though. He probably just doesn’t want to make a fool out of himself if he dances(or so he thinks he’s making a fool out of himself). Just have a good time with your friends and don’t stress about it. Some time with your friends is always a good thing!
