As you can probably tell, we really, really, really love One Direction. So you can imagine the squealing and near-pants-peeing that went on when Louis Tomlinson announced their new album title on Twitter yesterday. The potentially world’s best boyfriend wrote, “So pleased to tell you that our new album is called ‘take me home’ can’t wait for you to hear it! More news soooon! Louis .” Eep! One Direction are planting seeds in our heads. To be fair, seeds need dirt to grow, so we don’t feel too bad.

One Direction’s first single from Take Me Home, “Live While We’re Young,” comes out October 1, and the guys already wrapped up a video for it in which some of them are shirtless and all of them are sopping wet and OH MY GOODNESS. The excitement and joy this brings us is almost embarrassing, and it inspired our list: The top 10 reasons we’d like One Direction to Take Me Home. We think you’ll agree with them.

1. So we can make out.
Because obviously.

2. So they can serenade us.
The only thing they should do when they’re not making out with us is sing.

3. So Niall can teach us how to play guitar.
He makes it look so effortless! We want in. (If in part because it ups our chances of being in one of their backup bands someday.)

4. So we might see them shirtless (or in wet T-shirts).
Hello!

5. So we can make out.
Duh.

6. So we can get our clothes styled by Louis Tomlinson and our hair styled by Harry Styles and Zayn Malik.
Let’s be real–though everyone in 1D has a fun style of their own, Louis wins in the wardrobe department hands down. Any man that can pull off suspenders is a man we’d want to critique our closets. We’d also want to literally and figuratively get our hands on Harry’s tousled curls and Zayn’s gravity-defying mini-pompadour.

7. So we can see if Ed Sheeran was right.
The redhead “A-team” singer has said that Harry Styles of One Direction is packing heat. We really just want to see if he was being honest, and, you know, polygraphs can fail.

8. So we can make out.
Some more. Ow ow!

9. So we can watch them pull more pranks on each other.
We’re still giggling at Zayn Malik and Louis tricking the rest of One Direction into thinking some woman was going into labor. (Also, this made us want to marry and maybe eventually make a baby of our own with Harry. What a mensch.)

10. So we can explain to them what makes us beautiful.
Because it’s not what they think!
