If you have summer reading projects, do them! Don’t wait til the night before, or you’ll start school cranky and tired.
Based on your summer assignments, you may want to ask your teachers or upperclassmen what other books (novels, not textbooks!) you’ll need to read during the school year. You may be able to snag some of them at the library and get a leg up for later in the year–when you’ll likely be even busier than you are now, because you’ll be balancing homework, exams, and extracurriculars. Not a bad way to kill some time on a rainy summer Sunday, right?
