It may seem a little strange, but Alana Thompson or Honey Boo Boo Child has won over our hearts and minds. When the six-year-old first appeared on Toddlers & Tiaras we could not look away for a second. We had never seen a little girl (in a beauty pageant no less) be so spunky and unapologetically goofy before. It’s no surprise that you could hear the producers and workers cracking up from behind the camera as she grabbed her bare belly and shouted, “Those judges–they don’t know what they’re missing!”
Her new show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is totally bizarre, but completely charming. That family really loves each other and it’s pretty clear America is falling in love with them too. That’s why Honey Boo Boo Child is our Gurl Crush of the Week. (Just be yourself, girl!)
