Hilary Duff broke onto the scene with Lizzie McGuire, then released a bunch of the best guilty pleasure songs ever–she was sort of like Miley Cyrus before there was a Miley Cyrus or Hannah Montana, ya dig? And now she’s announced that she’s got a development deal with Fox–which means Hilary Duff is making a triumphant return to TV! She dished the news in a typically adorbs and perky tweet:

Ok it’s official! Very excited about my development deal with 20th century fox!! t.v. here I come!

To say we’re stoked would be a bit of an understatement. Even though Hilary Duff signing a development deal doesn’t necessarily guarantee that a show will come out of it, we’re crossing our fingers for one–and we’re concocting show ideas for her already. Here are five dream plots for Hilary Duff’s new show!

1. Lizzie McGuire grows up.
And hangs out with Hannah Montana. And a wizard of Waverly Place. And a girl named Sonny from a sketch show. Basically, we want all our Disney divas in one room so our heads can explode with happiness.

2. Aaron Carter matchmaker.
The trampoline and hard drug enthusiast dumped the Duffster for Lindsay Lohan and wound up inspiring her hit “So Yesterday.” Hilary went on to date Joel Madden, then marry Mike Comrie, all while designing a clothing line, writing books, going to Harvard, releasing platinum albums… Lindsay and Aaron each went on to rehab and not much else. We think it’d be fun to watch a TLC-style show where Hilary Duff gives life and love advice to the guy whose very douchebaggery launched her into the stratosphere.

3. A cooking show!
Hilary Duff has said she loves baking (and that her pumpkin pie is what won ex Joel Madden over). How about sharing some of that knowledge with us? It may fare better than a dramatic role, and she can poke fun at herself by using raspberries in her recipes–a subtle nod and wink to her Razzie nominations.

4. Material Girls!
We think this movie was so underrated–and that it’d work better as a TV show co-starring her big sis, Haylie. Think of Two Broke Girls, but with both characters starting out rich–and probably with far fewer cheap racial jokes.

5. Herself!
A girl grows up in Texas with an actress sister, becomes a star, dates a rocker, works through her parents’ split, marries a hockey player, becomes a mom to the cutest little boy ever, and remains a platinum singer and best-selling author throughout. Her real life is probably better than any script we can think of, so why not go with that?!
