That said, all of us at Gurl are also deeply troubled by all the shootings happening in our country. It’s happening over and over and so many lives are being lost in the most senseless way imaginable. It’s like the most terrible Groundhog Day ever.
Yes, we know the issue of gun control is controversial, and I know a lot of people think that it might be a good idea to protect themselves with weapons since all these shootings are going on–but it’s a fact in the past eight years, there hasn’t been even one example of a concerned citizen with a concealed weapon being able to stop a mass shooting. It’s time to put down the guns and put up a real fight against violence. The lives of our loved ones are at stake.

Dear Girls , Everygirl that takes the pill ( a form of birth control ) should take it everyday at the same time. If missing a day you must take the pill the next day at the same time with the other if missing more then 4 days without pill it will cause period to be unsual and it will most likely arrived weirdly . You must restort to the plan B (backup birth control form for times when you miss your regurler pill daily ) . It gives your body what you missed without the pill so that your period can be normal because once you take the pill for a long period of time your body gets use to it and without the pill for 3 days or more you can get headaches, stomach pains, dizzyness ,stressful mood , and or no feeling to eat . you can but the planB at any phamacy
I live about an hour away from the college and my friend’s sister was in her dorm room while the shooting occurred, and we’re very thankful she’s okay. I’m devastated by the shooting though and my dad knows one of the victims, luckily he’s okay :’(
I would like to point out one thing: Most mass shootings occur where no one CAN legally carry a firearm. In the most recent cases, a college campus, and a movie theatre where concealed carry was prohibited. Criminals know this, and they will avoid areas where they may meet serious resistance if they have any common sense at all. This is why you will never see a news story about a mass shooting at a gun show. Concerning the fact that the shootings seem to be happening all at once, it is a proven fact that mass shootings happen in clusters. One person does it, and it prompts someone else to act out there own sick fantasy. Once one such event occurs, it s important to be more vigilant for a while. And as far as protecting loved ones goes, I will always feel many times safer when I know my dad is carrying, and I will eventually get a concealed carry license myself. To quote my dad “It’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it, and I hope I never need to have it.”
I really wish more people would realize this. Besides, the right to bear arms is an amendment. This country will turn communist before long if someone doesn’t stop it. I pray that they do.
I completely agree with Artemis. Soon as a criminal sees the “no weapons allowed” sign they know they have easy targets. I believe those signs should be taken down in order to protect our citizens. Do you really think a criminal is going to just hand over their gun if and when the government makes them illegal? No but you bet most citizens of America will hand over theirs and then we’ll for sure be screwed. Looking forward to getting my cc license in February, hopefully they won’t outlaw guns til after the fact. It’s kind of scary that this guy and also the guy who did the Aurora batman shootings weren’t criminals before this. :/
I am scared because I was born in Colorado and lived near Columbine High School when the shooting happened. I don’t really remember anything but it’s scary to think I could have been hurt too. Then there was another shooting just a few days ago in Colorado and I was wondering if I could’ve been there with my friends if I stayed. I just don’t want to be scared to go to school, church, sports games, movies, etc. I want to go back to a time or go to a future time when people don’t have to live in fear that the neighbor next door might have a gun (legally) and might take that rude comment a little too much to heart and start shooting at my house. I don’t want guns to be taken away from people, I mean someone with a gun might be able to stop something, but I want it so that they can only use them in certain places. I just… I just am scared.
no, but a legally carrying citizen stopped a guy trying to hold up a diner a month ago or so, that didn’t become a mass shooting.
