So she told be I was a horrible person and deserved to burn in hell. And then told my crush I liked him. And broke some of my stuff. It all ended well, though, because I am now a better person having let that cancerous friendship go.

Sam. His brother was nearly born on our couch, that’s how close our families were. Then he decided girls were terrible creatures and I never quite forgave him for that.

I never fight about personal stuff, but one of my closest friends and I can argue about anything else. Politics, teaching strategies, the UN…. We were at a really formal event at his church recently and our mutual friend had to beg us not to fight.

I don’t talk to them like I used to. An occasional hi once in a while. They were Maricelia, Elora, and Ricardo. I’m still close to Ricardo though.
