When you first fall for someone, the world essentially stops orbiting the sun and instead revolves around you two. You stop seeing your friends, blow off hobbies and don’t even think about anything work related going on. But then a few weeks go by and you crawl out of that love cave and find a way to balance your BF with the rest of your life.
Unless you’re Miley Cyrus. I can’t really think of a single thing I’ve seen her do—except for Pilates—without Liam since they began dating in 2010. Not only that, she doesn’t seem to have a single project on her agenda—no tour, no album, no movies. Apparently “FOLLOW LIAM EVERYWHERE” is the only thing in her iCal.

True, MC can certainly afford to skate for awhile considering her bank balance, but making everything all about your BF is never a good idea, no matter how famous you are. Why not? So glad you asked. Here are five reasons your life should never revolve around your boyfriend:
1. He’ll start to resent you
No matter how much your boyfriend loves you, he’s probably not with you as a replacement for friends/family/hobbies. So if you’re insisting on being with him 24/7, it won’t be long before he sees you as a burden, instead of a blessing.

2. Your friends won’t wait around
We have ALL had the friend who vanished when she fell in love, only to come crawling back after her breakup, like nothing ever happened! It’s annoying and hurtful, right? As though you are only in their life by default, because now their actual priority has peaced-out. If you don’t want to alienate your BFFs, make sure you keep them on speed dial.
3. You’ll bore him
Who wants to hang out with someone who has nothing going on in their lives?? Even the most narcissistic dude wants someone he can talk to!

4. You’ll bore everyone else
Oh you’re super in lurrrrve and can’t get enough of your boo? That’s great now please STFU. Remember, just because you think your boy is the best thing ever doesn’t mean the rest of the world has to agree.
5. All your eggs are in HIS basket
After any breakup, my immediate thought is “I have nothing. My life is totally empty without him.” I’m just being wallowy and melodramatic but deep down I know it’s not true. But if Liam were to walk out on Miley, could she say the same?

I think the writer was just trying to get a point across on how girls become way to clingy. I am actually one of those girlfriends. My mom has been giving me advice after she notice I over commit myself to my hubby. Now I have noticed it & have been working in my modeling career & focusing on what makes me happy. Which is great! My relationship has been doing a lot better! I have my life again & get to keep my hubby too! This article was great & gurls remember to LOVE yourself & keep yourself looking fly always!

While all of those are valid comments about why being too dependent is a problem, attacking someone you don’t know of being to dependent is ridiculous. Just because its the only thing you’ve seen her doing doesn’t mean it is all she does. By the same logic your teacher lives at school and all she does is teach. An earlier comment already mentioned that she has in act been very busy.
The press wants to show them together constantly because they know people like to see couples and gossip about them.
You know I haven’t heard of Liam doing anything else since The Hunger Games, he could be overly dependent too! Of course no one cares because a man being too dependent is sexy (Twilight).
I don’t mind the commentary either. It’s honestly the perfect example to use MC. And I think the writer meant MC has no huge projects which is true ’cause if she has then even her dislikers would know that. But we never heard of anything these days.

Miley is working on a new album to be released BEFORE her wedding.
Miley also just finished filming her new movie “So Undercover”.
Since 2010 however, she’s finished her Television series. Released 2 music videos. Filmed and finished a movie, of which she has her own songs and features in a few others’ on the Soundtrack. She’s also performed on loads on TV programs including Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never movie.
I could go on, because I did my research and obviously YOU didn’t. This whole article seems like a personal slam towards Miley and for a website which tries to promote understanding and equality, this is pathetic.
