Going to the dentist is scary enough by itself. I mean, those sharp picks. The weird rinses. That torture device looking chair. So frightening! But, when you throw in a dentist who has a sassy attitude, well, the the whole experience gets even more icky.
I went to a new dentist recently and he took a look in my mouth and told me I had to get my wisdom teeth removed. My wisdom teeth have been around for a while and no other dentist has ever told me it’s a problem, which I told him.
“Well, then no other dentist is being honest with you. Your wisdom teeth don’t look right and they’re probably the reason you have really bad breath all the time!”
WHAT? Bad breath all the time? That seems a little extreme. I checked around with trusted, super honest friends and they all swore that wasn’t the case. Still, I got my wisdom teeth removed…but after a second opinion and not from that sasspot of a dentist.
Ever had a doctor say something kinda crazy to you? Tell us in the comments.
Totally awkward first kiss story! (At least she didn’t have bad breath.)

Can You Trust Him?
Honey, a lot of Dentists try to get you to do anything in order for them to make money. He made you believe you had an infection or something in the mouth because the more wisdom teeth a Dentist pulls out, the more money he makes.
I always tell patients if you are not in pain, o
r have tooth decay, or maybe even a cyst, its best to leave it alone. Flossing is the best way to avoid ANY tooth issues.

Remember to Floss The Teeth You Want To Keep…
That sounds like MY dentist! He says I have 3 cavities that need filled! AS IF!!!
oh wow… um dog much?! oh well when i was younger i used to get told by my friends i had super bad breath in the morning, even though i had brushed the crap outta my teeth. i used mouth wash, it was awful…. then i got told it was tonsilitis and thats why i had bad breath!
when i was a kid i was terrified of the dentist….when i was getting a fill in i started to get up and the dentist hit me in my face and told my mom he couldnt deal with me
Before I changed dentists, the women cleaning my teeth would berate me for having plaque on my teeth, even though it was the afternoon and had lunch at school, thus the plaque. My new dentist is much better.
Ergh my dentist is pure evil! He’s always picking holes and being horrible about our teeth because we have a lot of problems with them, but it’s not our fault! Our teeth problems run in the family so we pretty much can’t avoid them.
Well..he was very polite
