So you hooked up with some lucky dude. No shame in that, girlfriend! There’s absolutely nothing wrong with two consensual people enjoying each other’s company. And lips. And maybe other things.
But we totally understand why you may want to keep your private life, well, private. The whole world doesn’t need to know who you made out with last night, no matter how hot he was!
If you want to avoid questions and gossip, hiding any physical evidence of your hookup is the first step. Find out how to cover and cure a hickey, hold your head high in a “walk of shame” (FYI, we kind of hate that term, but it is what it is), make bedhead look sexier, and remedy things like beard burn and “BJ lips.” Oh yeah, we went there!

if you have a hickey and long hair, wear your hair down or in a side braid/ponytail to hide it. it always works for me!

trust me, its much easier to tell your mom. introduce him as a friend first so she can get used to the idea of the guy being in your life and then she’ll figure the rest out herself when she sees you spending time together.
