If you’re dating someone, you should be able to rely on them to boost you up, cheer you on, and make you feel awesome when you need it most. Sadly, that was so not the case with one of my exes!
One day, I had a terrible breakout and was nervous that I’d look like a monster at a party I was going to that night. When I asked my boyfriend if it was really that bad, he made me feel even worse about the situation.
“Actually?,” he said, “I hate it when you break out and I kind of can’t really even look you in the face right now.”
I nearly started crying and had to leave the room. Strange thing? I didn’t break up with him. Years later, I realized his insensitivity was a pretty major character trait and dumped him for good.

That’s terrible! Trust me, people in my school call me pizza face, I’m in the same boat as you! You should find a guy that doesn’t even mind:) My current boyfriend is such a sweetheart and seems to care so much, he says he doesn’t even notice! Whether or not he’s saying that to make me feel better doesn’t matter much, at least he tries!

If my boyfriend ever said that to me, I would be totally shocked. And since I’m a sensitive person, I probably would break up soon. EVERYONE BREAKS OUT. That’s what I would tell him. He would deserve a slap across the mouth.

If my boyfriend ever said anything like that; I’d dump him right then and there. A boyfriend is suposed to make you feel GOOD about yourself, not break you down into tears! At least you finally broke it off; you deserve better than that!

That is HORRIBLE. I would’ve dumped that jackass right then and there! I sometimes get breakouts around my period so stubborn that not even the miracle acne medicine could fix, but my bf says he doesn’t care. He says I’m beautiful no matter how many bumps I have on my face

My ex said that to me so I kicked his balls off with my soccer girl strength (I didnt actually make them fall off but he screamed in pain which is what I felt on the inside) and I dumped his (not so) sorry butt. Zits are part of growing up, am I right?
That’s horrible and I’m glad you dumped him. A guy actually said something horrible to me one time about my zits and my amazing friends got him to apologize. I hate insensitive people. They are so harsh. I’m so sorry this happened to you and I’m glad you dumped him. Because you deserve better than that. <3

I can’t stand overly insensitive people who have no sense of respect for other peoples emotions. I wouldn’t tolerate that kinda behavior at all.
