Now that school has ended, you have time to hang out with your friends… and maybe you’ve even landed the perfect summer job. But what else are you looking to do over break? How about making a difference this summer? Of course you do because you’re awesome! (We know our readers are awesome.)
Well, here’s a super simple way. Staples for Students and our buddies at DoSomething are teaming up to collect school supplies for local children in need.
It’s super easy to get involved. Here’s how:
- Go to a local Staples store and donate one dollar towards the campaign when you check out.
- Go to a local Staples store to donate new or unused school supplies.
- Organize your own drive with your friends! When you sign up online, DoSomething will send you an action kit to get started.
- Share a message from Staples for Students on your Facebook, Twitter (#StaplesforStudents) or Tumblr. For every message shared, Staples will donate one dollar towards the cause!
- Get creative and raise your hand with Bella Thorne, the awesome spokesperson for this campaign! Write a message about Staples for Students on the palm of your hand and submit a photo online.
Bonus alert! Just be participating, you’ll be entered to win movies tickets and a trip to Hollywood! Plus, if you sign up five of your friends online, you’ll have a chance to score a $2,000 scholarship!
