I would do anything for my friends. Last year, my friend asked me to buy her the morning-after pill (Plan B). I went to the drug store and the pharmacist gave me a huge lecture! She yelled at me, saying, “How could you be so careless? You should use condoms!” I didn’t even get to explain that it wasn’t for me. Luckily, I was the only one there, and I ran out as fast as I could.
A few weeks later, my hot boyfriend (Josh Hartnett’s doppleganger) invited me over to meet the parents. Guess who his mother was? THE PHARMACIST! It was the most awkward Sunday lunch ever. She eventually gave us The Talk… along with condoms.

That woman had absolutely NO RIGHT to comment on what you were buying. It’s none of her business. As a mom, sure, she could get away with. But as a professional pharmacist? No way.
This story has been circulating for years, I smell a fake. I’m pretty sure this is also on Snopes.com, well a story like it.
I remember how awkward it was when I had to get Plan B .. But okay, that was for myself. The pharmacist was a old guy and I could tell he was extremely annoyed with me. Thankfully I got no lecture but he was on the verge of giving one, his eyes said it all.
Seems legit. This is a classic joke that has been circulating for years.
i agree with the other comments. it wasn’t the pharmicists business that you were buying plan b. the pharmicist should have been embaressed about it, not you.

That’s so unprofessional, even if she is your bf’s mother, you didn’t know it at the time and you should have reported her. I know I would have, it’s none of my pharmacist’s business the decisions I make, and I would flip if that happened to me.
I agree, what if the girl buying the plan b had been raped or somthing. That would have been terrible if she got yelled at for buying the plan b. The pharmacist is really unprofessional.
I was raped 2 years ago and felt so bad having to take plan B… I know it was my choice but my mom pretty much made me take it. If the pharmacist said something like that to me at that time, I probably would have broke down. The nerve of some people these days. They don’t even think.
