Daria Morgendorffer is basically our high school hero. A trailblazer for misfits everywhere. Her morbid, dry, wit put being a teenager into perspective and made the alternative girls of America feel a little less alone. Daria was first known as “diarrhea” on MTV’s Beavis and Butthead as the much needed female counterpart to the dim-witted duo.
After five seasons and two movies, Daria went off to college, concluding in a speech at her high school graduation, “There is no aspect, no facet, no moment of life that can’t be improved with pizza.” This is why Daria Morgendorffer is our Gurl Crush of the Week.
