Your Complete Guide To First Date Conversation

If you watch the movie first, dinner will probably run smoothly. | Source: Shutterstock

If you’re doing dinner and a movie with a guy you don’t know too well, hit the theater first. An awesome flick, whether it’s the hilarious new Adam Sandler vehicle or a 3D superhero epic, will inevitably give you guys something to talk about and bond over when you leave–even (and sometimes especially) if the movie sucks!

Not a movie person? No biggie! Hitting an amusement park, arcade, batting cages, laser tag, skating rink, or bowling alley can be great ice breakers and banter for later on, too. Bonus points if you beat him at whatever game or sport you’re playing!

After the first date, how would you let the guy know you’re not interested without being harsh?

I would actually always recommend sitting across from each, sitting next to each other is not average and really awkward for the other person however if there is a big group then you can sit next to your date like in a booth.

Actually, there’s a scientific study that shows that guys tend to feel more close to a girl when talking side by side, while girls tend to feel more close by talking face to face. So, if you really like the guy and want to be with him you better sit side by side.
