Major congratulations are in order for one of our favorite singers of all time: Adele is pregnant with her first child! We couldn’t be more thrilled for her, and we know all of you Adele fans feel the same way.

She announced the news on her blog this afternoon in a post titled “I’ve Got Some News”, saying: “I’m delighted to announce that Simon [Konecki] and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”

Not only are we so happy for Adele and her BF, but we’re also pretty thrilled for her unborn child – this kid is seriously lucky to have a mom like Adele. Forget the fact that this baby is going to be an insta-celeb the moment he/she comes out of the womb – Adele is an incredible singer who also happens to have some serious healing powers.

But seriously, it’s so great to see a celebrity, or anyone for that matter, get out of a bad relationship and get into a good one. After all that she went through with her ex-boyfriend, girl deserves a ton of happiness! We’re so glad that she ditched her loser ex (although he did help give us some awesome songs, so we can’t be too furious at him) and is now moving on to start a family of her own. Plus, we think she’s a great role model and she’s going to make a truly amazing mom.
