Following an ass-kicking turn in Snow White And The Huntsman, Kristen Stewart is back as Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer.
We finally get to meet Renesmee, whose birth (spoiler alert!) nearly killed Bella in the previous installment, and she’s super cute!
Mostly, though, the trailer gives a taste of vampire Bella, and we gotta say–red eyes actually look kind of awesome on Kristen Stewart, who shows a lot more expressions in this trailer than she has in most of the other movies up to this point. It’s safe to tell her detractors that Kristen is actually a really capable actress when she’s given decent material to work with. Let’s be real, in her human form, Bella was often mopey and sullen, so how can anyone blame Kristen for acting that way on screen?
Vampire Bella is happier and a lot more confident, and she even says so: “After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found out I could shine.” While there’s a bit of anti-feminist thinking here (why couldn’t she feel special without being bitten by some pale dude?), it’s nice to see her come out of her shell.
We also sort of love the whole Mama Bear Bella that’s going on here. Even though she’s only 18–and obviously in real life you guys know that it’s best to wait to have kids til later–Bella seems like an amazing mom, super protective of a little girl that everyone wants, especially when she makes a mad dash for the Volturi in the snow.
While the movie looks pretty good for Twilight standards, we gotta admit–we can’t possible take Michael Sheen seriously as Aro. There’s not much scary about him, though the idea that the costume and makeup departments probably got paid through the nose to make him look this goofy is pretty horrifying.

I never really liked the twilight series and although I knda liked the movies, I didn’t see breaking dawn part 1. But after seeing this… OMG When can I see it!!!!

I am obsessed with Twilight! I have the movies, soundtracks, books, bookmarks, posters, board games, the one DS game, the graphic novel, and a few t-shirts. I am so glad I saw this trailer! I loved them all but I know this one will be the best! I can’t wait to see how Bella and everyone else show their love for Renesmee! Especially seeing that look on Bella’s face at the end when she was running! So fierce and protective! I loved it!
