So what did Jack do? He basically made a sensor that detects cancer before it becomes super harmful in the body. (The earlier the diagnosis the better your chances of staying alive!) His sensor strip is faster, more accurate, and only cost $3.00 compared to the current sensor which can cost up to $800. Just think about what a huge difference this will make in the lives of your aunt or uncle, mom or dad, or friend who may have cancer one day? There’s no doubt about it, at 15 he’s already helping people in a life-changing way, can you imagine what he’s going to be doing at 25?! This just makes me wonder: with all these teen geniuses around, why are some girls so hung up on One Direction and Justin Bieber?

Do you know what all the guys (well, besides JT) in N’Sync are doing right now? Yeah, we don’t either. What the hell ever happened to BSB? Nick and Aaron Carter were on that super trashy reality TV show where they fought all the time. Not really BF material there.

Serious question: Would you rather be dating a has-been who still has weird groupies or the guy who helped cure cancer? Maybe we should be celebrating brains a little more than cheesy dance moves and catchy lyrics. Just to put things in perspective, none of those boy bands actually write any of their own songs. Yeah, they’re talented but there aren’t many child stars that become adult super stars. Most of them end up C-list celebs who can only end up in the news by creating major negative drama around them, like drunk driving or celebrity feuds.

What’s even better about dating a boy genius is that he’s sitting right next to you in class. Look at that kid over there during math period, the one with the swooshable hair. He’s totally smart and going to be something really important one day!

I’m not saying crushing on Zayn is totally wrong, but there are some real guys out there doing real things that can change the world and save lives. Having a guy who can talk your ego up, with the same song he sings to every girl, may not be the only quality to look for in a BF.
