Confession: I am a makeup addict. I love it! It’s so much fun and is one of the easiest and most temporary ways to change up your look or glamorize yourself. There are literally millions of colors and brands to choose from, and it can get just a teensy bit overwhelming. So we want to know: what makeup are you using? Or are you even into this stuff?

– Everyday {light foundation to even my skin-tone with a little eye shadow & liner and lipbalm}

– I messed around with makeup during my freshman/sophomore year of highschool but junior year i began to wear more and more.

– Probly my mom’s lipstick when i was little hahaha but seriously, i wore Mary Kay for a while.

– No, it’s not a necessity I’m proud of my “natural beauty”. But I do wear it pretty much everyday.

– When I dont wear makeup, I just simply dont wear it and it’s no big deal. Makeup is more of a luxury that may “enhance” my natural beauty.

– BARE MINERALS!! <3 {its the one that gives me the "natural" look with makeup and a glamorous look on those special occasions. but some day i'll be able to afford the expensive stuff like Bobbi Brown or Mac}

– My local drug store but I purchase the Bare Escentuals at Sephora.
8. How much is too much to spend on makeup?
– The most expensive makeup I've ever purchased was $30 bucks and that was a lot for me. {one day i'll get that Mac….one day *sigh}
9. About how much makeup do you own?
– the basics…a few eye shadow packs, one type of foundation that doubles as concealor, one blush, a few lip sticks, two eye-liners (liquid and pencil), and little stuff that i barely use.

– Depends. everyday: lip gloss/lip bam. those days when i want a little more somethin somethin (hehehe) lipstick.

– Nude lipstick is the bomb shizzle!!! it gives a natural glam look.

– My Bare Minerals foundation…yupp {thank God that's not the case though}

– Gold =D it gives my hazel eyes a little pop that contrasts with the overall natural look.

– No..not really. just my usual. unless my outfit calls for a little something extra.

– The beach, sure because my foundation has SPF15 in it (plus it makes my skin look less oily). the gym? i mean if i'd been wearing makeup all day i wouldnt take it off haha.

– Foundation and Concealer (it's kindof the same thing in my case) I dont really neede bronzer…my skin is naturally brown.

– either Keri Hilson, Kim Kardashian, or Megan Fox. Their makeup is always flawless and flatters their natural beauty.

1. How often do you wear makeup?
In the winter months, almost every day. In the summer, I take a bit of a break and usually only wear a light moisturizing cream and mascara.
2. When did you start using makeup?
I started when I was about 12, but only usually wore a little bit of mascara (literally like one coat on the top lashes and I was done) and a small amount of foundation.
3. Do you remember the first kind of makeup you ever used?
Covergirl, most likely. This is only because that was the main brand my sister wore and I borrowed her makeup occasionally at the start.
4. Do you refuse to leave the house without wearing makeup?
If I’m going to school, YES!! If I’m hanging out with cousins/best friend/family than I don’t mind. I’m not really the sort of person that needs to wear makeup to look pretty, but I feel it adds to how good-looking a person is.
5. Or do you find it more liberating to not use cosmetics?
No.
6. What’s your favorite brand of makeup ever?
I would say it’s a tie between Maybelleine (best drugstore cosmetics ever!), or Mac.
7. Where do you buy most of your cosmetics?
Occasionally I’ll visit Sephora, but the nearest place to get makeup where I live is Shoppers Drugmart. Ironically Pharmaplus is closer, but more expensive imo.
8. How much is too much to spend on makeup?
40+ on a single piece of makeup.
9. About how much makeup do you own?
A lot. lol

Special occasion; lipstick.
Regular day; lipgloss.
11. What’s your favorite color lipstick and/or lip gloss to wear?
Lipstick: A dark rose shade, matching my lips.
Lipgloss: Clear gloss
12. If you could only use one makeup product for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hands down, mascara.

No. It would totally clash with my fair skin tone and blonde hair.

Daily routine for school:
Curl my eyelashes, apply mascara.
Apply a light, sheer foundation with a stippling brush. Lightly brush powder evenly across my face to make sure the foundation stays on. Sweep blush across my cheeks. Coat my lips with a clear lipgloss. If it’s a special event, I wear eyeshadow and eyeliner.
I buy the brand covergirl for my foundations, Maybelleine for my mascaras, Sally Hansen and Mac for my lipglosses, Mac for bronzers and blushes, Urban Decay, Nars and Maybelleine for my eyeshadows. I use a lot of other brands, but these are just my favourite ones.
I wear way less than when I was in middle school, but I guess I still wear quite a bit of makeup compared to others.

Beach, yes. Gym, no.
16. When it comes to eyeliner, do you use a regular pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Using a regular pencil is soo much easier! It tends to smudge way quicker though. I still haven’t perfected using liquid eyeliner. Umm, in fact my current routine for using liquid eyeliner is..:
Coat the lower part of my eyelid in liquid eyeliner. Wait for it to sink into the divot of my eyelid. Use a tissue to remove the rest. (yeah…)
17. Have you ever gotten your makeup done professionally?
No. I don’t need to.
18. Have you ever wanted to be a makeup artist?
Occasionally, yes. You would need to be quite famous to earn a lot, however. I’m planning on becoming a beauty guru on youtube, a much easier route to fame.
19. Do you use foundation, concealer or bronzer? Or all of them?
Regularly I only use foundation. Occasionally I use some concealer under my eyes to mask discoloration. I use bronzer in the summer, but sometimes I detest how it makes my face darker than my neck/the rest of my body as I am quite fair in the wintertime.

lol I forget to a LOT.

Wet my lips. Dip my lips in sprinkles. Take a picture <3

I went through a whole phase of endlessly watching beauty gurus. It did recently strike me however that all of the makeup tuts that the popular ones tend to do are mostly all the same! I think that the whole beauty guru community is starting to lean towards OOTD's for the sake of laziness and ease. I do find the occasional amazing unpopular beauty guru who tends to lean away from the repetitive sea of makeup tutorials and make unique content.
